Instructor / Boat and Saftey Instructions

The boat will supplied to the renter's vacation rental house. The boat tank will be full. Getting instructions is mandatory. Instructions may take up to 4 hours depending on the experiences of the renter. Instructions are going to be in English language - elementary English knowlegde is neccessary.

The boat can be rented with instructor / guide on principal and also individually for night rides, e.g. for having dinner in Fort Myers. Night rides without our instructor / guide are not allowed and not insured.

Insurance and Sea Tow

The boat is insured including USD1,000 deductible, which equals the sum of the deposit. Third party liability insurance is up to USD1,000,000 (CSL=combined single limit). Medical payments and accidents with uninsured boaters are also insured.

Sea Tow coverage is mandatory for the complete rental period for USD35.

Rental Conditions

1. The renter must be at least 25 years of age and

5. Experience and knowledge about boating is desirable

Boat Rental / Service Fees

1 Week: USD990 + 6 % tax (payable in USD)

5 days: USD900 + 6 % tax (payable in USD)

3 days: USD750 + 6 % tax (payable in USD)

Boat instructions and final cleaning: USD200

Costs for boat instructions and final cleaning are payable directly to the boat instructor before getting instructions.

Please note that final cleaning has to be executed by Cape Escape Boat Rental, LLC and it is not possible to do it on your own. Gas is not included in the price. The boat uses about 5 gallons per hour - depending on speed, less if driven slowly.

Guests of the vacation houses Caribbean Island Deluxe, Cape Coral and Caribbean Island Grand Deluxe, Cape Coral can arrange their bookings with the owners of www.caribbean-island-cape-coral.com

Introduction and hand over will take place close to the river or on the river in SE Cape Coral. Introductions are made according to the agreement from 8 a.m., return has to be made by 4 p.m. at the latest. If you rent a boat for a week starting on a Saturday introduction / handover can be arranged from 8 a.m., return of the boat must be on the following Friday by 4 p.m. at the latest.

We offer for rent a Garmin GPSMAP® 640, it is a full-featured marine chartplotter and as well an on-the-road navigator. It is ready to go preloaded with BlueChart® g2 data as well as City Navigator NT road maps for North America. There is a high standard with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver and a high-resolution touchscreen display. This makes you always know the way whether you’re on land or at sea.
